moving through backcountry terrain.
Going beyond the controlled areas into the backcountry
is a natural progression in skiing and snowboarding. It’s
the freedom of being able to go and ride a prefect line
you see somewhere out there, of seeing more and more
options.

With the assistance of its lift system Bansko ski area
offers numerous possibilities for freeriding terrain.
Chutes, perfectly spaced forests, bowls and peaks are
accessible with practically no hiking, while a 3-4 hour
effort will take to the remotest serving of freshies.

The ski and snowboard tours are without a doubt
the most discreet of the winter activities. With good
backcountry technique and provided a few hours of
hiking don’t pose a problem you can enter the
